Jeff Christian was a player for the Youngstown Steelhounds hockey team from 2005-2008. Today begins the first part of a three-day serial story looking at the somber ending to his long journey in professional sports — which started as a first-round draft pick and ended with trips to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
