AUDITIONS
ACTORS
“Fiddler on the Roof,SDRq Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. June 5 and 6 for age 15 and older. Bring piano sheet music (no accompaniment tracks). Be prepared to sing a short vocal solo. Dress comfortably (no flip-flops) to learn a short dance routine. A special audition night is set for children age 7 to 14 on June 7. They also will be asked to sing and learn a simple dance. Bringing a solo is optional. Cast of about 30 men and women of all ages is needed. About eight boys and girls will be villagers. “Amadeus,SDRq Victorian Players, 702 Mahoning Ave. Youngstown. Auditions are 7 p.m. June 13 and 14. Cast for 15 male roles age 20 to 70 and 10 females age 20 to 50. All roles are open. All auditioners will be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals will begin in August. Performance dates are Sept. 9-25.
Audition notices are published in this space every Thursday. Deadline to submit casting calls is one week before publication.
