Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, painting and drawing class ($5 fee and take your own materials) and free blood pressure checks at 9:30 a.m., bingo at 10 and lunch at 11:30; Tuesday, Zumba at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11:30, bingo at noon and golf league at Mill Creek Par 3 at 2 p.m. for those who signed up at the center; Wednesday, bingo at 10 a.m., lunch and speaker at 11:30 and tai chi at noon; Thursday, yoga at 9:30 a.m., senior shape up at 10:30, lunch and birthday party at 11:30 and bingo at noon; and Friday, bingo at 10 a.m., lunch with Dr. Holly Reinke from Centers for Hearing Care as the speaker at 11:30 and Senior Focus TV show at 12:15 p.m. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lordstown SCOPE, in Lordstown Elementary School, will sponsor the following: Friday, bingo at 11 a.m. and a sloppy Joe, salad and chips lunch at noon; May 31, Wii bowling, bridge or candle making at 10 a.m. and lunch of tomato soup and hot dogs at noon; June 1, woodcarvers at 10 a.m. and lunch of chicken wraps and chips at noon; June 2, bridge at 7 p.m.; and June 3, bingo at 11 a.m. and lunch of baked chicken, potatoes and vegetable at noon. Lunch reservations are not required but are appreciated by calling 330-824-2173. Pinochle players are invited to form a group. A three-month trial membership will be available until the end of June.
