Poland man sworn in to bar association
Michael R. Babyak of Poland was sworn in to the Ohio Bar Association earlier this month in Columbus after having successfully passed the February bar exam.
Atty. Babyak, the son of Robert and Paulette Babyak, graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., and received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa. The 2003 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School is an associate lawyer at Lane & Rusu Attorneys-at-Law in Canfield.
Champion High grad receives law degree
James M. Williams graduated cum laude with his law degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law, Cleveland, on May 15 with a concentration on litigation. He also received the Paul J. Hergenroeder Award given to the top student in trial tactics.
Williams is a 2004 graduate of Champion High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University. He is the of Mr. and Mrs. James Williams of Champion.

YSU honors graduate completes fellowship
Dr. Paul Harkey, a 1998 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas of Louisville, has completed his fellowship at Emory Healthcare Center in Atlanta, in musculoskeletal imaging. He has taken a position at Emory Healthcare in Johns Creek, Ga.
Dr. Harkey graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University and attended medical school at Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine. He completed his five-year residency in diagnostic radiology at Case Western Reserve MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
He is the son of Paul and Florence Harkey of Canfield and the grandson of Lorenzo DeSantis and the late Velia DeSantis and the late Peter and Josephine Harkey.
