The Western Reserve Port Authority, which runs the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, has granted a $2,000 performance bonus to Dan Dickten, aviation director at the airport.
At Wednesday’s port- authority meeting, the port authority board also approved giving Dickten $1,000 to reimburse him for expenses he incurred when moving to the Mahoning Valley last year.
Scott Lynn, port- authority chairman, said the bonus was granted because of the improved revenues that have been generated as a result of Dickten rewriting leases for several of the companies that operate out of airport.
Dickten was hired in April 2010 at a salary of $72,500.
