Former state Rep. Sandra Stabile Harwood appointed to Trumbull elections board

COLUMBUS — Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has appointed former state Rep. Sandra Stabile Harwood to a vacant seat on the Trumbull County Board of Elections.

Harwood will complete the unexpired term of Democrat Ralph Infante of Niles, who resigned from the board in January because he will be a mayoral candidate on this year’s general election ballot.

An attorney, Harwood served four terms in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2003 to 2010, representing the 65th District, which encompasses the southern portion of Trumbull County.
