HERMITAGE, Pa.
Democrat Women of Mercer County will sponsor the second annual Spuds and Suds Dinner and Auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bella Cena, 3200 S. Hermitage Road.
The spuds part of the evening will feature a baked potato bar full of popular toppings. The suds portion will include an array of tastings from local brewers and winemakers.
An auction with a new twist will begin at 7:30 p.m. Bidders will choose from locally created art provided by the furry friends of DWMC to benefit Animal Appeal of Sharpsville and Animal Advocacy of Mercer County.
Max Schang will provide music. Tickets cost $15 per person, or $25 a pair.
