Smith named Employee of the Year at Poland Shepherd

John Smith was selected as the Employee of the Year for Shepherd of the Valley-Poland at a recent Employee Appreciation party.

Smith has been with Shepherd of the Valley since October 2006, joining the Poland staff in June 2007 where he is the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.

The Employee of the Year is nominated and chosen by the community’s staff.

“John has helped tremendously while we were short on staff in the maintenance department.

“He has always been an excellent employee; always on time, very courteous, and always willing to help in any way possible. The residents think the world of John and we appreciate him and everything he does,” said Kelly Stansloski, associate director.
