Education: I graduated from South High School and attended Youngstown State University.

Groups: Gardening, past-member of the OCCHA, Youngstown Elizabeth Junior Guild and volunteered for the Beatitude Home for battered women.

Currently doing the Master Garden program at Mill Creek Park.

Q. What do you like best about living in your town?

A. Traffic is not heavy, especially during rush hours. Cheapest place to live compared to most of the state.

Q. What one thing would you add to your town if money was not an issue?

A. A symphony and playhouse in Canfield, given that we are centrally located to Cleveland, Akron-Canton and not even one hour from Pittsburgh.

Q. Describe the last community event you went to.

A. The Youngstown State University art gallery in Youngstown Butler art. Enjoyed how creative the students are from abstract art, digital and water colors. It was a great show!

Q. If there was a store or business to add to your town, which would you like it to be?

A. The Cheese factory restaurant or Huge Outlet clothing store. The cheese factory and outlet clothing store will bring money into this area since everyone has to travel outside of our area to visit one.

Q. If you could name a street after someone, who would it be?

A. I would say Denise York. She has given a lot of money to our community.

Q. Where is your favorite place in town to go for a little hide-away time or bite to eat?

A. The Downstair Deli in Canfield. Great getaway and the food is great.

Q. What one place would you direct an outsider to visit to experience your town?

A. Mill Creek Park is the first place and always take buyers coming to this area to the Deli in Canfield because its cozy, yet private.

Q. Is there a song or movie that you hear or see and say “They’re describing me?

A. When I hear Jazz. It is mellow and I love to hear instruments playing, including piano.
