Northern Ohio crash injures 3 adults, 4 children

ATTICA, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a two-vehicle crash near Toledo left seven people hurt, including one with life-threatening injuries.

Troopers say a pickup truck crossed the center line, struck an oncoming car and overturned Thursday evening near Attica, about 55 miles southeast of Toledo.

A 79-year-old Willard woman who was driving the car was flown to a Toledo hospital with life-threatening injuries. She was listed in critical condition this morning.

Her 77-year-old passenger suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. The 34-year-old Attica man driving the truck and four children who were with him also had injuries that were not life-threatening.

Troopers are investigating the crash but don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
