Authorities take 150 gaming machines in Warren raid

The Warren law director’s criminal division and Trumbull County Prosecutor’s office are investigating three local establishments believed to be operating “games and/or schemes of chance,” according to county Prosecutor Dennis Watkins.

Judge Andrew Logan of Trumbull County Common Pleas court issued search warrants for all three locations, which were searched today. About 150 machines were confiscated.

The locations are Players Club, 2700 Mahoning Ave., Lot$-A-Loot, 2004 North Road S.E. and Lucky Charms, 2001 Southern Blvd.

The Warren criminal division will now evaluate evidence and determine if charges will be filed.

Watkins said generally gambling offenses are misdemeanors.
