Motorcyclist hit in Braceville, flown to Akron

BRACEVILLE

Police say a 53-year-old Newton Falls man has been charged with felony aggravated vehicular assault, operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to yield in a Friday night accident.

Braceville Township police said Joseph R. Quickle was driving his Dodge pickup truck when he hit motorcyclist Sean McCabe, 38, of Southington, around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The accident occurred on state Route 303 near state Route 82, reports state.

McCabe was flown by helicopter to an Akron hospital.
