Mobile spay-neuter clinic set

The Lawrence County Animal Relief Fund along with Animal Friends of Pittsburgh will have a mobile spay-neuter clinic for cats April 30, its first this year.

The clinic will be at the Lawrence County Courthouse.

Pre-registration and confirmation are required. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Prices are $30 for spay-neuter, includes rabies shot if needed; $10 for FVRCP inoculation if needed; and $25 for feline leukemia testing and inoculation. Shots are available only with a spay-neuter.

Applications are available at www.LCARF.com.

Household income requirement is under $3,500 per month. Any Lawrence County agency or organization involved with low-income households is encouraged to print and distribute the application. The income requirement is waived for people bringing in feral or stray cats.

There will be additional clinics into the fall.

Residents are encouraged to apply soon, as last year’s clinics were filled quickly.
