St. Charles School is accepting registration for students in all-day kindergarten through eighth grade. Call 330-758-6689 to find out more or to arrange for a personal tour of the school. Students are also invited to come and spend a day to get a feel for what St. Charles School is all about.

Richard Atkinson, a member of the Youngstown School board, and Marie D. Dockry, a member of the Mahoning County Educational Service Center and the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, have been named to the Northeast Regional Executive Committee of the Ohio School Boards Association.

The committee provides governance and leadership to school board members throughout Northeast Ohio.

Adrienne H. Sturm, a member of the Canfield School board, has been named to OSBA’s Federal Relations Network. It’s the National School Boards Association’s major grassroots lobbying force involved in federal issues. The network consists of two board members in each congressional district who are appointed by the OSBA president and then ratified by the OSBA trustees.

Members work with NSBA through the OSBA Division of Legislative Services.

CCW Academy will conduct its 36th annual open house from 9 a.m. to noon March 26. The public is welcome. Registration will occur during this time for children age 21/2 to 5.

A before- and after-school-care program is also available for school-age children, with busing available.

The school is at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 585 Sanderson Ave.

Victory Christian School, 2053 Pleasant Valley Road, is accepting applications for enrollment for the 2011-12 school year.

Applications are being accepted for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade. Kindergarten students must be age 5 on or before Sept. 30. A kindergarten open house will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 18.
