Police officer injured in western Pa. crash


LORETTO, Pa. (AP) — Officials say a western Pennsylvania police officer was injured in a crash responding to a call.

The Tribune-Democrat of Johnstown reports a Cresson Township officer was en route to a call for assistance at the time of this morning’s crash in Munster Township, Cambria County.

The unnamed officer was taken from the scene in an ambulance. The extent of the officer’s injuries were not immediately clear.

State police tell WJAC-TV they are investigating the crash.
