SPRINGFIELD, Ohio
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the driver of a tractor-trailer was flown to a hospital after his rig crashed off the side of an overpass and landed on the roadway below.
Patrol Sgt. Yvonne Thorne says the crash happened about 1 p.m. Saturday near Springfield when a car merging onto Interstate 70 hit the truck, sending it into a barrier and over the edge of the road onto U.S. Route 68.
