Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. Who: Berean Fellowship Church.

What: “Body of Christ” is the theme.

When: 4 to 7 p.m. June 27-July 2.

Where: Church, 1321 Lansdowne Blvd., Youngstown.

Details: The free program is for children from 5 to 12 years old. There will be Scripture readings, games and crafts, songs and snacks. For more information, call 330-743-4250.

Who: First Presbyterian Church.

What: Vacation Bible school program is planned.

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 27-July 1.

Where: Church, 3654 Main St., Mineral Ridge.

Details: The program is for children 4 years old through fourth grade. Crafts, games and music will be featured. For more information, call the church office at 330-652-5712.

Who: Fowler United Methodist Church.

What: “Big Jungle Adventure” is a faith journey with Jesus.

When: 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Fowler.

Details: The program is for children of preschool age to sixth grade. For more information, call 330-619-5000.

Who: Girard community churches.

What: “Inside Out & Upside Down on Main Street” is the theme.

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 27-July 1.

Where: Girard United Methodist Church, 22 N. Market St., Girard.

Details: The Bible school is for children from 4 years old to those finishing sixth grade. A “kid to kid” mission will be to collect monetary donations or new school supplies for Emmanuel Community Center in Girard, which will distribute supplies to local children in need. Registration forms are available at the churches and St. Rose School and should be returned by Wednesday or sooner. One form per child must be completed and there is a $5 registration fee per child. A $10 maximum per family is charged to help defray the cost of shirts, snacks, crafts. For more information, call St. Rose rectory at 330-545-4351.

Who: Greater Friendship Baptist Church.

What: “Facebook to Faithbook, Connect, Confirm, Witness” is the program theme.

When: 6 to 8 p.m. June 27-July 1.

Where: Church, 646 Lakewood Ave., Youngstown.

Details: The program is for children to senior citizens. There will be a special Facebook presentation by Gordon Gipson. The Rev. J.C. Bowie is pastor.
