A mock store is being set up at Beatitude House administrative office, 238 Tod Lane, where students can “shop” for needed supplies.

Beatitude House, which serves homeless and disadvantaged children and women, needs the community’s help through donations. Items needed include new or gently used school uniforms (blue or tan pants/shorts and white, red or light blue polo shirts), shoes, new socks and new underwear. Children range in age from preschool through high school so all sizes are needed.

Classroom supplies such as pencils, pens, notebooks, folders, glue, highlighters, rulers, pencil boxes, crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc., also are being accepted.

Donations also are being accepted at 1370 Tod Ave., NW, Warren. Hours for both locations are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Donations are requested by Aug. 8.

Beatitude House creates homes, provides education and fosters healthy families to provide disadvantaged women with the opportunity to transform their lives. Visit www.beatitudehouse.com, or call 330-744-3147.
