One Step to Life, Inc., 3610 Southern Blvd., is having a “Fun Raiser” from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 5.
Raffle tickets will be sold to raise funds, which will go toward a two-day educational/fun field trip for youths. Tickets cost $10 for 25, $5 for 10 and $1 for one.
Tickets will be drawn at the event, and prizes will be awarded, including 15 first-place winners (ages 13 to 18) to be transported by One Step to the Detroit Historical Museum and to an amusement park/water park. Gift cards and other prizes will be the second- and third-place prizes. Activities planned are a bounce-a-round, dunk tank, fish fry, music and a guest speaker, The Rev. Michael Scott.
