Vacation Bible school students at the Ohltown United Methodist Church on Ohltown-Mineral Ridge Road meet Scrappy, a Trumbull County Animal Shelter dog, above. Tami Young brought Scrappy from the shelter to the VBS picnic Friday afternoon at the church grounds after the students collected toys, treats, food, blankets and $90 for shelter animals. Gavin Van Kleeck, 6, of Niles got to present the cash donation and pet Scrappy, at left.
