“A ... My Name is Alice,SDRq at The Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., Youngstown. Auditions will be 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Director will be Sandy Vansuch with musical direction by Gary Kekel. The format consists of about 20 songs and sketches performed by a cast of women of different ages and types in a wide variety of situations and relationships with insight, empathy and self deprecating humor. Casting is flexible, women only age 18 and up. Auditoners must be prepared to sing and read from the script. Performances will be Sept. 23-Oct. 8 with one Sunday matinee Oct. 2. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday for eight men, age 30 and up; 10 women, age 30 and up; and four teenage females. Performances: weekends Oct. 14-30. “To Kill a Mockingbird,SDRq Aurora Community Theatre, 115 E. Pioneer Trail, Aurora. Auditions will be at 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 14 and 15 for men and women.
