GIRARD
St. Rose Church was the setting Oct. 23, 2010, for the wedding of Morgan Tondo and Nicholas Cretella.
Monsignor Michael Zuraw presided over the vows exchanged between the daughter of Patrick and Carla Tondo and the son of Philip Cretella, all of Girard, and the late Shirley Cretella.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield. After a wedding trip to Aruba, they reside in Girard.
The bride’s ivory lace sheath gown featured an empire bodice and Swarovski crystal accents with satin trim.
Wearing burgundy gowns were Jeana Stevens, maid of honor, and the bridesmaids, Annamarie Buonavolonta; Lauren Jeswald; Erica Leskovec; Megan Flynn; Amanda Altiere; Kelsea Tondo-Cramer, cousin of the bride; and Ashley Cretella, sister of the groom. The bride’s cousin Cara Mia Battaglia served as flower girl.
Robert Delisio was the groom’s best man, and his groomsmen were Ryan Collins; Jayson Loychik; Ryan Tolone; Adam Grdinich; Michael Yankey and Johnny Kay, the groom’s cousins; and Patrick Tondo, the bride’s brother. Participating as the ring bearer was Carmen Biamonte, the bride’s cousin.
Mrs. Cretella graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in marketing management. She is a marketing communications specialist for Turning Technologies in Youngstown.
Mr. Cretella attended YSU and works for United Parcel Service in Girard.
