Walsh Jesuit rallies to pull past Ursuline

Liz Reeves scored seven of her 13 points in an 18-point fourth quarter when the Walsh Jesuit High girls basketball team rallied to top Ursuline 43-40 on Saturday.

The Warriors (5-10) rallied from a 37-25 deficit.

Aurielle Irizarry scored 17 of her 23 points in a 21-point second quarter that saw the Irish (8-4) seize a 28-19 lead at the break.

Perry 59, Fitch 41

MASSILLON

Megan Sefcik scored 11 points and Erica Braxton had 10 for Fitch (8-6, 2-5), which fell behind 38-15 at halftime in a Federal League game.

For Perry, Katy Frease scored 14 with nine rebounds.

Beaver Local 68, Campbell 46

LISBON

Tenelle Hoppel scored 16 of her 20 points in the first half as Beaver Local raced out to a 41-10 lead.

Hoppel also had seven assists for the Beavers (4-11), while Kenzie Weber had 11 points and five assists and Allie Bangor had nine points and seven rebounds.

For Campbell (1-12), Tiera Graves scored 17 and Amy Jackson 16.

Newton Falls 67, Windham 41

Destiny Prusky scored 22 points and Tori Workman 10 to lead the Tigers (13-2).

For Windham, Taylor Blasaty scored 14 points and Caitlyn Isler 12.

Warren Harding 50, Euclid 42

EUCLID

Kourtney Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Harding (11-3, 4-2 Lake Erie League), which led 31-16 at halftime.

Anita Brown added 11 points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Euclid is 2-11, 0-7.

West Branch 49, Canton South 39

BELOIT

Brandi Snyder scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead West Branch (11-4, 9-2 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), which led 29-15 at the break.

Kelsey Loiselle added 10 points.

For South (2-14, 2-9), Kati Schneider had 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Youngstown Christian 31, Lake Center Christian 16

YOUNGSTOWN

Caylin Hayes led the Eagles (5-9) with eight points, five rebounds and four steals.

Chasia Moyer contributed six points, six rebounds and three blocks.
