‘Little Ohio’ book fits little hands

Marcia Schonberg has designed a book specifically for the younger set. Her latest children’s book, “Little Ohio,” is the perfect size for little hands to hold.

Schonberg combines her love of writing, learning and teaching in the little book that has been created in board-book format and filled with rhyming riddles and brightly hued clues (and answers) that will please the youngest book lover.

“Little Ohio” has been illustrated by Michael Glenn Monroe with realistic paintings of such things as the state bird, the state tree and animals.

The book has been published by Sleeping Bear Press and will be available at Barnes and Noble and book stores and shops throughout the area.

Jackson ‘friend’ to write a tell-all

NEW YORK

A “lifelong friend” of Michael Jackson’s is promising to tell all.

Frank Cascio, a former personal assistant to the singer, has a deal with William Morrow for “My Friend Michael.” The memoir is scheduled for this fall, the publisher announced.

According to Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins, the book will offer an “uplifting and definitive” account of Jackson, who died in 2009, while noting the “terribly scarred” experience of fame.
