FAIRPORT HARBOR, Ohio

Authorities are still working to estimate the amount of damage from a buildup of natural-gas pressure that triggered a house explosion, fires and an evacuation.

Fairport Harbor fire Capt. Jeff Braemer tells The News-Herald in nearby Willoughby that officials are sorting through the damage, and a final report likely won’t be issued until next week.

Ohio regulators have said ice may have been a factor in the buildup of natural- gas pressure Monday in the community.
