Shooting forces woman, kids to run for cover

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are investigating a shooting into a house on the East Side that forced a woman and her children to run for cover.

Shots rang out in the 700 block of Bennington Avenue at 8 p.m. Thursday.

A 35-year-old woman told police she heard the bullets hit her front window forcing her, and her children, to run into the bathroom for cover.

Police found four bullet holes in the outside of the house. No one was injured.
