Friday, January 28, 2011

MADEIRA, Ohio (AP) — A Cincinnati area 15-year-old who allegedly told classmates he had a gun and planned to kill 20 students has been charged with inducing panic.

Police say the student at suburban Madeira High School reportedly said he was tired of being picked on. School officials began investigating Wednesday after a student and parent told them the youth had said he had 20 names on a list and maps of the school.

WKRC-TV reports the teen denied the allegations in juvenile court on Thursday and was released to his parents, to remain under house arrest.
