LATROBE, PA.
Dennis Bassich hit a 3-pointer with 18 seconds remaining to lift Saint Vincent to a Presidents’ Athletic Conference win over Westminster. The Titans led 56-45 with 4:36 remaining on Reuben King’s layup, but were outscored 17-4 the rest of the way. Bassich and B.J. McGill led Saint Vincent with 13 points apiece. McGill also had six assists. Rob Briggs finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds for Westminster, which led 36-32 at halftime. Anthony Thomas added 10 points and six assists.
Hiram 77, Oberlin 57
OBERLIN
Aaron Stefanov scored 20 points and Hassan Muhammad added 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Hiram (9-9, 3-6 North Coast). Deon Milton finished with 13 points for the Terriers, who led 40-21 at halftime. Josh Merritt scored 21 points to lead Oberlin (1-18, 0-10).

Mount Union 78
ALLIANCE
Dave Pellerite scored 22 points and had 15 rebounds but Mount Union’s comeback from a 44-29 halftime deficit came up short. Pellerite had a career high in rebounds and a season-high in points. Jimmy Wood added 15 points for the Purple Raiders (8-10, 6-5 Ohio Athletic Conference), while Matt Kiger finished with 14. Corey Shontz scored a career-high 30 points and added nine assists to lead John Carroll (13-5, 8-3). Joey Meyer added 13 points and Michael Harnett scored 12 for the Blue Streaks.

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA.
Devin Taylor fired in 26 points, and Maron Brown added 18 points to go along with eight rebounds, to lead The Rock in a PSAC game. Jon Valeriano added 15 points for Slippery Rock, which led 34-28 at halftime. Jabril Bailey finished with 14 points and eight rebounds, as The Rock shot 56 percent from the field (29 of 52). California (Pa.) was by Steve Swiech with 17 points, Joe Berenato with 13 points and Rashawd Hatten with 10.
Bethany 73, Waynesburg 52

Reece Mabery scored 13 points and set a school record with 12 steals in Bethany’s PAC victory. Nick Wilcox led the Bison (13-5, 7-2) with 20 points, while British Alexander finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds. James Barton also finished in double figures, scoring 10 points. Lou Galante scored 10 points to lead Waynesburg (5-13, 2-6).
Washington & Jefferson 72,
Grove City 56
WASHINGTON, PA.
Washington & Jefferson went on a 20-3 run in the second half to take control of the PAC contest. Brian Felker and Paul Matthews scored 19 points apiece for the Presidents (7-12, 4-4), while Zack Bellhy finished with 14. Cecchini scored 13. Brett Matson scored a game-high 21 points to lead Grove City (4-14, 1-8). Sam Barnhill added 10 points for the Wolverines.
Geneva 80, Thiel 77
BEAVER FALLS, PA.
Lance Randall and Devon Adams scored 19 points apiece for Thiel, while Aundra Jones added 10. Blair Rozenblad finished with nine points and 12 rebounds for the Tomcats.
WOMEN
Bethany 63, Waynesburg 59
WAYNESBURG, PA.
Tara Harris scored a season-high 16 points, including the final five of the game, to lead Bethany. Kayla Taormina added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Bison (9-9, 4-6 PAC), while Audra Droginske finished with 11. Brittany Spencer led Waynesburg (13-5, 6-4) with 14 points.
Saint Vincent 82, Westminster 46

Gabby Holko scored 12 points, a career high for the freshman, to lead Westminster (4-14, 0-10 PAC). Kaitlin McCsrthy (Lowellville) added six points for the Titans. Saint Vincent (16-2, 9-2), ranked No. 22, was led by Maria Baroffiio with 20 points, while Brittany Sedlock added 16 points and 14 rebounds.

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA.
Danielle Smith scored 17 points, Marlynda Harland added 13 and Sherita Stanley finished with 10 points and eight rebounds for The Rock (2-15, 0-5 PSAC). California (13-4, 4-1) went on a 12-0 run to start the second half and wasn’t threatened again. Amy Johns scored 20 points for the Vulcans, while Kayla Smith had 18 points and 14 rebounds.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS
Kori Wiedt scored 18 points and No. 18 Mount Union had its best offensive output of the season. Taylor Hartung added a career-high 15 points for the Purple Raiders (15-3, 8-3 OAC). Hartung also had six rebounds and three assists for Mount Union. Lauren Forquer finished with 14 points and Rosa LaMattina scored 10 for the Purple Raiders. Lee Jennings finished with 39 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for John Carroll (10-8, 5-6).
Grove City 63,
Washington & Jefferson 55
WASHINGTON, PA.
Christine Slater scored 23 points and Grove City jumped out to a 23-5 lead to start the PAC game. Slater also led the Wolverines (10-8, 6-4) with seven rebounds. Megan Gebrosky added 11 points while Leah Gibson had eight assists. Grove City’s Alison Wells set a school record with eight blocked shots. W&J (8-10, 5-4) got 15 points by Courtney Walsh.
