Pa. sex offender found living with woman's 3 children
CARNEGIE, Pa. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies say a Pittsburgh man wanted for not registering as a sex offender has been found living with his girlfriend and her three children.
As a result, 34-year-old Scott Kochis is in the Allegheny County Jail and his girlfriend, 34-year-old Nicole Kovacic, has been charged with child endangerment for allowing a convicted sex offender to live with her kids.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for Kovacic, who also doesn’t have a listed home phone.
Kochis pleaded guilty in September to molesting a 9-year-old girl and was ordered to register as a sex offender. But authorities say he violated his probation by listing his home address as a residence his parents had moved from months before.
Deputies found Kochis at his girlfriend’s Scott Township home Wednesday.
