YSU plans annual financial-aid event

The Youngstown State University Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will have its 15th Annual Financial Aid Awareness Week through Thursday.

Information tables will be set up on the lower floor of Kilcawley Center, across from the Home Savings bank, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Students can stop by to receive forms and ask questions of financial-aid staff members regarding grants scholarships, loans and more.

To request information, visit www.ysu.edu/finaid and find the Online Request for Information Form under Quick Forms, or call the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at 330-941-3505 or 330-941-3506.

Students can apply now to receive financial-aid award offers. To complete the online 2011-12 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, visit www.fafsa.ed.gov. The priority deadline to complete the FAFSA online and the Institutional Aid Application is Feb. 15.
