Poland couple still courting votes for 'I Love Lucy' wedding

More than 40,000 votes had been tallied as of Monday in the national race for an “I Love Lucy” wedding commemorating the 60th anniversary of the show.

Poland residents Tricia Kren and Troy Litwiler are among five couples in the running for the prize package, which includes a ceremony and reception in Lucille Ball’s hometown of Jamestown, N.Y.

Kren has been a fan of the show since she was a child and said she’s still voting on the site daily and telling friends and family to do the same.

Voting takes place online at www.lucilleballhometownwedding.com/vote.
