West Library branch closed for boiler repairs

YOUNGSTOWN

West Library, a branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County at 2815 Mahoning Ave., was temporarily closed today due to a boiler problem which resulted in no heat at the facility.

The boiler is being replaced at a cost of about $12,000. Repairs are under way and the branch is expected to reopen on Monday, but patrons are advised to phone ahead before going to the branch then, in the event repairs are not complete by that time.
