If you already need to shake up your New year’s resolution, Austintown, Boardman, Canfield, and Poland Curves facilities are now offering Zumba workouts.

The Latin dance fitness program’s moves are now mixed with Curves strength training in a 30-minute program.

“It’s an amazing workout that will really help our guests stick to their New Year’s resolutions,” said a Curves of Youngstown staff member. “With the international music and fun dance moves that have made Zumba so popular, we think it’s an incredible workout.”

Katie Mitchell, Curves Director of Exercise and Research, says “Zumba is definitely a boredom-busting workout. There’s a lot going on to keep your attention and motivate you. Research shows that group exercise lowers drop-out rates, so working in Curves groups will help people stick with it.”

The program is appropriate for all ages, fitness levels and dance abilities. Youngstown-area curves facilities offer the first week of the class free.
