The Poland Rotary is looking to add to its $1 million in donations, as it sponsors the 25th annual Chili Open Auction and Golf Classic this year.

The Chili Open was established to fund local charitable organizations to help each fulfill their mission.

The auction will be Jan. 28 at the Georgetown in Boardman at 6 p.m. The cost is $60 per person, $100 per couple and $400 for a table of eight.

There will be a five-station dinner buffet, silent and chance raffles and entertainment by Hermie and Harry the Dueling Pianos. Kathy Price will receive the Person of the Year Award at this event.

The Golf Classic will be Feb. 26 at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Lowellville at 9 a.m.

The cost is $25 per person. There will be food, beverages, prizes, a DJ, 50/50 raffle, putting contest, a hole-in-one prize and nine holes of golf.

There will also be a chili eating contest, sponsored by Wendy’s. Local high school students and athletes will compete for prizes in this event. Teams are sponsored by local Rotarians.
