Team Office Technologies, an Austintown business since 1980, recently joined forces with Higgins Online Inc., a business out of Poland.
Team Office helps businesses find the right equipment for their offices, which it also services with a team of technicians. Higgins brought software- development and website- development skills among other attributes.
Higgins began in 1992 and had three employees at the time of the merger. Team Office had 15 employees, bringing the total staff to 18 members. No new employees have been hired during the merger.
Located at 118 North Canfield-Niles Road, the business services companies in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties and is looking to expand into western Pennsylvania.
With Team Office President Tom Reeveley’s background in office equipment and field service and Team Office Vice President Bryan Higgins’ years of experience in computer technology, the merger seemed a natural fit to the owners.
“Bryan and I realized that the common denominator between our companies was our technicians. Our technicians complement each other,” Reeveley said in a press release.
“Over the years we’ve worked together on joint accounts and found that not only do we work really well together, but our services complement one another,” Higgins said.
