Dana Mathews (Struthers) scored 19 points, to go along with four rebounds and two assists, to lead Owens (17-4), ranked No. 5 among junior colleges.

Hiram 68, Kenyon 59

HIRAM

Tiffany Shields scored 24 points and Amy Geisman added 14 to lead Hiram in a North Coast Athletic Conference game. Chelsea Kovach also scored 14 points, while Jess Cowan had 12 rebounds for the Terriers (9-7, 2-4). Kayla Ernst and Maureen Hirt scored 15 points apiece for Kenyon (9-8, 3-3).

Lock Haven 71, Slippery Rock 47

LOCK HAVEN, PA.

Slippery Rock shot a season-worst 29 percent from the field (17 of 58) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game. Sherita Stanley led The Rock (2-13, 0-3) with 10 points and seven rebounds. Alex Beatty added eight points and Danielle Smith scored seven. Emily Daugherty scored 16 points for Lock Haven.

Grove City 66, Westminster 57

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

Christine Slater led Grove City with 17 points and nine rebounds in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference game. Alison Wells added 14 points for the Wolverines (9-7, 5-3), while Megan Gibson scored 11 and Megan Gebrosky finished with 10. Emily Dolsak (McDonald) led Westminster (4-12, 0-8) with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Katie Hughes (Mooney) finished with 14 points off the bench on 5 of 8 shooting. Kaitlin McCarthy (Lowellville) added nine points and seven assists for the Titans.

Washington & Jefferson 75, Bethany 65

Anne Wilson scored 18 points and Kayla Taormina added 17 for Bethany in a PAC game. Wilson also had five rebounds and three assists for the Bison (7-9, 2-6),. W&J was led by Vanessa Rivera with 20 points and Ashley Kirkpatrick with 17.

Kenyon 78, Hiram 69

GAMBIER

Hassan Muhammad scored 18 points and Deon Milton added 10 for the Terriers (8-9, 2-6) in a NCAC game. Jamaal Watkins finished with eight points and 11 rebounds. Kenyon (8-9, 4-4) was led by Kodey Haddox with 19 points, while Brian Lebowitz added 14 points and eight rebounds. Marcus Healey finished with 12 points for the Lords.

Bethany 71, Washington & Jefferson 58

BETHANY, W. VA.

British Alexander scored 19 points and Ryan McFadden and Nick Wilcox added 12 each for the Bison (11-5, 5-2) in a PAC game. Wilcox also had nine rebounds. W&J (6-11, 3-4) was led by Brian Felker with 16 points, Zach Bellhy with 14 and Maz Hoster with 10.

Westminster 69, Grove City 62

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.

Westminster snapped a five-game losing streak by holding off the Wolverines. Doug Smith scored 22 points for the Titans (4-13, 1-6 PAC) and Christian Shea added 20. Anthony Thomas (Union) finished with 10 points and Rob Briggs blocked eight shots. Brett Matson led Grove City (4-12, 1-6) with 17 points, whule Kris Verderber added 12 and Luke Tomaselli scored 10.
