Ribbon-cutting for Hometown center

BOARDMAN

Hometown Urgent Care, 1305 Boardman-Poland Road, is having a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. today. With this new location, Hometown will have added 10 centers in the last 12 months and three additional centers in the planning stages for the first quarter of 2011, which would take Hometown to 20 centers.

Hometown Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar said 2010 was very exciting for Hometown, saying it became one of the largest urgent-care companies in Ohio in less than one year after its entry into the market.

Hometown centers are full-service, urgent-care and work-care centers with on-site X-ray, EKG and labs, and offer a comprehensive occupational-health program.
