CLEVELAND

Two students and an instructor from the Trumbull Career and Technical Center finished third in the 19th annual Automotive Technology Competition at the Cleveland Auto Show.

After a written test, five teams from Northeast Ohio competed against each other Saturday to find bugs planted in a Lexus RX350.

Finishing third was the team of Blake Starcher and Kyle Grammatas, with Dave Gillies, their instructor. Each student received a $650 scholarship.

The team members had to not only find the problems with the car, but also know how to fix them.

The Cleveland Auto Show runs through next Sunday at the I-X Center.
