Mahoning Valley under flood warning until Monday night

YOUNGSTOWN
A combination of melting snow and expected heavy rain has the entire Mahoning Valley under a flood warning till about 7 p.m. today.
The National Weather Service warning will take effect at midnight.
The weather service also advised caution for those in areas that flood such as Leavittsburg on the Mahoning River.
The temperature is expected to hit the lower 50s Monday causing existing snow to melt. Heavy rain is expected early Monday with a chance of thunderstorms later in the morning, according to the weather service.
The rain is expected to change to snow in the afternoon with less than an inch of snow accumulation. Also, winds are expected to hit 35 mph.
