Youngstown declares snow emergency


YOUNGSTOWN — The city declared a snow emergency, starting at 6 p.m. today, and remaining in effect until further notice.

During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited in the city on all street except those with a width of no more than 25 feet.

Any vehicle parked in violation of the snow emergency will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The city declares a snow emergency when there is at least 4 inches of accumulated snow.
