West Branch teacher dies after childbirth

BELOIT

The West Branch community continues to mourn the loss of a faculty member, who died this week from complications after childbirth.

Candice Boyle, 33, died Wednesday from complications developed after giving birth to a baby girl on Feb. 17 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Superintendent Dr. Scott Weingart confirmed Friday.

Boyle had taught at West Branch since 2007, where she instructed Instructive Business Education, bookkeeping and computer technology, as well as serving as adviser for the morning announcements crew. She was also an adjunct instructor at Stark State University.
