Youngstown firefighters award dinner Friday night

YOUNGSTOWN

The 24th annual Youngstown Professional Firefighters Retirement and Awards Dinner will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel.

John Moore, 2010 retiree, will be honored. Eleven members will receive 25-year service-award pins, and a civilian award and proclamation will be given to Dominic Koulianos for his actions to save a man from a fire.

Several firefighters will be honored for their efforts during two separate occupied-structure fires.
