Thursday, February 24, 2011

NORTH LIMA — Health officials revoked the food license of Slammin’ Sam’s Stagecoach Restaurant on Market Street extension in Beaver Township.

At its meeting earlier this week, the Mahoning County District Board of Health revoked the business’ license to prepare and sell food. Later in the day, county health sanitarians and law enforcement served notice on the restaurant located at 10300 Market, said Matthew Stefanak, health commissioner.

According to health department documents, the restaurant has been in violation of several food safety regulations since February 2007 because of a malfunctioning sewage treatment system.
