Youngstown declares snow emergency starting at 6 p.m. today


The city of Youngstown has declared a snow emergency effective at 6 p.m. today. During the emergency, parking is banned on city streets, except those narrower than 25 feet and having no driveway facilities, according to Charles Shasho, deputy director of public works. And vehicles parked in violation of the ban can be towed at the owner’s expense, he said.
