A relative of an elderly Ohio couple missing since Wednesday says their family believes they’re with a man suspected of murdering a woman found dead this week in the town where the couple lives.

The investigation into the disappearance of 84-year-old Richard Russell and his 85-year-old wife, Gladis, continued Saturday.

Richard Russell’s great nephew Matthew Hall says the pair from Bellefontaine wouldn’t likely take a long trip without informing someone in their tight-knit family. Hall says his uncle often uses a walker or a wheelchair and has had medical problems that make him dependent on some medications.

Authorities say murder suspect Sam Littleton is wanted for questioning in the disappearance. Littleton is charged in the killing of a woman found dead in a home the Russells had sold to Littleton.
