Holy Family celebrated the true meaning of “family” with its Family Fun Night on Feb. 5, as they welcomed students, families, parish members and the public to a night of games and activities.

“We hope to bring together all members of our school, church and community. It’s a real celebration of everything that Holy Family is all about, we hope,” said public relations manager Tina Kali.

The president of Holy Family’s Home and School Association, Camille Frisone, agreed with the sentiment.

“Tonight isn’t about fundraising. This is our closing celebration of Catholic Schools Week, so we’re just here to thank our families and students who make our school a great Catholic school,” she explained.

During the Feb. 5 event, all Holy family classrooms were open and offered games or activities for the students and families, including cornhole, basketball free throws and a regatta race with plastic ducks. Face painting was a popular station with students, along with the expert balloon animals created by two guest clowns.

“Our celebration has been great this year,” Frisone shared as she worked the event. “We’ve had great participation and a great outcome. All thanks to our awesome families and students.”
