2 more men indicted for their roles in shootings near YSU

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury today indicted the last two of five men charged in connection with the deadly shooting at a home near the Youngstown State University campus.

Demetrius Wright, 20, of West Avondale Avenue, and Jamelle Jackson, 18, of West Boston Avenue were indicted on charges of carrying concealed weapons, tampering with evidence and obstructing justice. Both men had been set for preliminary hearings Friday in municipal court, but the indictment negates that appearance.

Wright is in the county jail on a $100,000 bond. Jackson is jailed on a $150,000 bond.
