youngstown
Two students at a city alternative school were suspended for 10 days for fighting. A police officer used a Taser on a 15-year-old boy to stop him from fighting.
The officer, who was working at Redirection School, Hudson Avenue, heard a disturbance coming from the school’s lunchroom around
11 a.m. Monday.
The officer saw two students fighting, with the principal holding onto one and a teacher trying to pull the other student back.
The 15-year-old boy was trying to kick and get loose to continue fighting, so the officer used a Taser to stop him, police said.
