Angels offers spay and neuter programs

Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, is having two spay and neuter programs.

The second annual “Ban the Big Bellies” discount spay or neuter event for low-income residents is Feb. 22 through 24 in recognition of Spay Day USA.

At Angels, vouchers for a $10 cat spay or neuter and a $25 dog spay or neuter are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis for pets of qualifying low-income Ohio residents. Proof of government assistance with a photo identification required.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Angels also is having its annual Spring 2-for-1 spay and neuter program for cats. The cost for two female cat spays, or one male cat neuter and one female cat spay is $45. Two male cat neuters would cost $35. Services, such as vaccinations, are available at regular prices. Donations can be made. Call 330-549-1111, ext. 328.
