Ohio sheriff: No signs of foul play in found body
DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) — Preliminary autopsy results show no signs of foul play in the death of an Ohio man whose body was discovered by another man walking his dog.
The sheriff’s office in central Ohio’s Delaware County now identifies the man found dead Sunday morning in an open field as 57-year-old Mark S. Barnette of Liberty Township.
Sheriff Walter Davis III says in a statement that the coroner found no bullet or stab wounds on the body.
Davis says final autopsy findings are several weeks away. He says further tests will determine whether the death was accidental death or the result of health complications.
